Get Ready for Baby Life

Our OB professionals and Perinatal Nurse Navigator offer FREE monthly classes to help parents prepare for life with baby! Whether you are trying to get pregnant or currently pregnant, Baby Life classes have a full range of topics to help you be the best parent for your baby!

These free, quarterly classes are available to the community, and are especially helpful to those who are newly diagnosed.

Heartsaver CPR

This level of CPR is intended for those in non-clinical roles and lay persons.

Cost: $65 (Book Included)

First Aid

The course immediately follows the Heartsaver CPR class and is optional.

Cost: $40

SafeSitter

Available for children ages 11 and up who are interested in learning proper and safe techniques for babysitting. This is a 1-day course offered during summer break.

Cost: $50

1-Stop Online Courses

BLS, ACLS, & PALS Resuscitation Courses

Complete courses at your convenience. When finished, call the Education Department to schedule skills checkoff with Voice Assisted Manikin (VAM). Upon completion, you will receive a 2-year resuscitation certification from the American Heart Association.

TB Certification

Validation course for administering and reading Tuberculosis tests. The American Lung Association validation card is valid for 3 years.

Neonatal Resuscitation

Management and resuscitation of newborn at delivery. There is an online portion that will need to be completed prior to class. Completion certification will need to be brought to class.

Cost: $155 (Required Book Included)

Basic ECG and 12-Lead EKG classes

By request and dependent on number of participants.

We offer Safe Sitter Babysitting Classes one time yearly at the end of May or early June, check the calendar of events for date and more information.

How old must my child be to attend the Safe Sitter Babysitting Class?

Your child must be 11 years old to attend the Safe Sitter Babysitting Class.
