| Sullivan County Community Hospital will be hosting a Community Health Fair on Tuesday, May 10, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the hospital rotunda in celebration of National Hospital Week. Free testing available to the public will include blood pressure, spirometry (lung function), hearing screens, cholesterol checks, balance testing and body fat percentages. In addition, there will be free peripheral artery disease screening for the first twenty people who call (812) 268-4311, ext. 2281 for an appointment.
For those who would like to participate in the cholesterol testing, the participant should fast for 12 hours before having the test done. If you would like, a voucher may be obtained on the morning of the health fair, and the test actually performed later in the week. The free cholesterol testing voucher will be valid until Friday, May 13, at 3 p.m. ET.
