Nutrition Services/Meals on Wheels

| Description: | SCCH’s cafeteria is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. for breakfast, 11:30 a.m to 1 p.m. for lunch, and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for dinner. The public is welcome to utilize the cafeteria for meals. Patients now have room service menus available for their convenience. |

Sullivan County Community Hospital’s Nutrition Services department provides nutritional counseling for diabetes, cardiovascular, renal, weight control, sports nutrition and eating disorders. Call (812) 268-4311, ext. 2220 for more information or to schedule an appointment with registered dietitian Traci Ray.

SCCH’s cafeteria is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. for breakfast,
11:30 a.m to 1 p.m. for lunch, and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for dinner. The public is welcome to utilize the cafeteria for meals. Various entrees are offered throughout the week, with several grill items (hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches) and a salad bar being offered every day. Patients in SCCH now have room service menus available so they may order meals at their convenience. |

| Meals on Wheels are offered to Sullivan County residents who would like a hot lunch and/or cold sack dinner delivered to their home by community and hospital volunteers. Meals are available Monday through Friday and include therapeutic meals (diabetic, calorie controlled, low sodium, etc.).
Options and pricing are as follows:
- $4.25/day for both hot lunch and cold sack dinner
- $2.65/day for hot lunch
- $1.60/day for cold sack dinner
Hot lunches will include: entree, vegetable, fruit, bread, dessert, milk or juice. Cold sack dinners include: sandwich, fruit, cookie and milk or juice.
Payment may be made on a monthly basis and given to the volunteer who delivers meals on Fridays, or mailed to SCCH Nutrition Services Department, P.O. Box 10, Sullivan, IN 47882.
Volunteers to deliver meals are needed at this time. Volunteers may choose to deliver as many days out of the week as they would like. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Nutrition Services department at (812) 268-4311, ext. 2222.
